What's going to be our theme next week? Should we make arts&craft little pilgrim hats and headbands with feathers on them to wear around the bar? I vote for Mikey to come dressed as the T-Day Bird........

Tue, November 22, 2005 - 5:00 PMOr how's about the most overrated Rock N' Roll Turkey of them all: BON JOVI!!!! -

Re: Turkey Karaoke
Tue, November 22, 2005 - 5:06 PMHere's the thing about Bon Jovi:
Bon Jovi isn't SUPPOSED to be good. They suck and everyone knows it. Some people just appreciate them in an ironic-garbage-rock sense.
The Eagles, Doors and Pink Floyd are fucking awful, but if you listen to rock critics (or in the case of Pink Floyd, guys on acid) they are supposed to be great. But they are overrated, and they are TURKEYS! -

Re: Turkey Karaoke
Tue, November 22, 2005 - 8:52 PMEarly on, Pink Floyd was a good band. They just became an over-produced arena rock once they made it big with Dark Side. The Doors had their moments. "Break On Through", "5 To 1", and "Peace Frog" are great songs, IMO. I agree with you though on The Eagles. They are just country wannabe shit.
