The work on the new space has progressed so smoothly (thanks to the efforts of many of you!) that Annie, Sean and Valerie have decided to have a Special Grand Opening Back Room Karaoke Party on Friday the 13th. There is even a stage (being built as I type this) in the karaoke room to enhance the "I'm a Rock Star" illusion.
Front Room: LIVE MUSIC (yay!) with The Grannies and The Naysayers - plus Spike (of Me First & The Gimme Gimmes, Swingin' Utters and the OG of karaoke at Annie's) spinning his fave tracks.
Back Room: Duh - Karaoke
And for those of you who were concerned about the fate of the Annie's Cocktail Lounge jukebox, fret no more - All discs are coming over to Annie's Social Club.
Free admission to ALL on Friday the 13th.

And while I bitch about them not tipping at Leisure, some people bribe their ways to the top of the rotation by presenting me with random vodka martinis. A two-person rotation is a good idea. We were originally going to do that with Leisure, but the scheduled co-host flaked like a dandruffy scalp. I was able to hang with it. Omar and Aaron realized that I managed just fine, and they just kept it as me running the show ever since.
